About the Position

We are looking for some part time family support in Cott. My husband and I both work from home with varying schedules. We are with our kids most of the time and have family help too-- but would love someone we trust to be an extra pair of hands when we need them throughout the week-- not just with the kids but around the house and with errands too. We have a newborn and a toddler (2.5)... We have lived all around the world with our toddler and she is used to meeting new people. We are very healthy/active and raise our children as naturally/holistically as possible. We travel often, and will sometimes have this person come along to help. Also, when my husband travels, I may have this person stay with me and the kids. We're looking for someone flexible, incredibly trustworthy, diligent, intuitive, and who shows initiative when it comes to helping out. It's also important to us that this person inherently understands children and respects them. We love books like the conscious parent and montessori/steiner teachings. We're pretty chill, and our previous nannys/babysitters have been very sad when we've moved on... we treat everyone really well as there is no more important job than one when people are spending time with your kids!! so long as we're on the same page with regards to values, we're all good. Looking to begin meeting/trialling/warming up in jan and then start a schedule end of jan/feb. We'd prefer someone who speaks another language, for our 2.5 year old to pick up... however not critical. Looking forward to hearing from you!!
